Chacala is a quaint little fishing village that lies within the aforementioned 50-mile stretch of the pacific coast [The Best of Mexico]. It is our goal to create a development that becomes a very special community, in many ways, unique to all Mexico.
This starts with an intense emphasis on the excellence of the design - we place great importance on the design of everything….Everything that one will encounter within our development, Chacala del Mar, will be scrutinized with an eye toward the excellence of its design and the execution of its creation.

Since there are many subtleties that can directly influence one's expectations and favorable anticipations, our emphasis begins with the creation of an inviting, intriguing and beautiful entrance to the development...As one continues on, they will note the extra care that has been given to the design and creation of the road system. Hills and curves are engineered to provide constantly changing views and visual experiences. Aesthetically planned retaining walls, lighting, and driveways all serve to provide intriguing points of interest which will be located at various points along this path so that passers-by can encounter some pleasant surprises as they take a walk. Add to this the strategic placement of flowering trees and bushes along with the general inability to see any houses from the road and you have a great result: a most wonderful place to ride a bicycle, jog or just take a walk.

This insistence upon the quality of design will carry into each of the individual houses. We are interested in creating a look that will prove to be timeless. This will be accomplished by the use of natural materials - materials that might be found right on your site. Neither proportion, comfort nor practicality will be compromised because they are at the very heart of a timeless creation.

We hope to create a look that will combine the influences contained in the classic designs of seaside residences on the French and Italian Riviera, as well as some of the details found in the architecture of colonial Mexico. These styles in combination with the integration of nature and natural elements within those designs will create homes of fantastic allure and livability. Because of the tropical weather of the area, nature can be brought inside by way of waterfalls, pools, trees, ceilings open to the sky, etc.

These homes will tempt your use and presence despite the allure of the patios, terraces and swimming pool. These homes will be as magical on the inside as they are on the outside. Combining all these elements, we hope to influence the creation of homes that can result in an ultimate value for your home that far exceeds the cost to create it. We're not interested in just the creation of "big houses". Rather, we want Chacala del Mar to be known for the quality of design to be found within its gates.

In addition to the excellence of design, we want to create a place where you not only have reasons to come but also reasons to stay in this country feeling development. This will be accomplished by the provision of certain amenities. We are aware that many residential communities have created amenities that few ever use. We plan to create amenities that speak to enjoyable activities and stimulating involvements that people will really use and value. The more successful we are in this endeavor the more such a home will be successful in serving as a place for family traditions.

Our dream is to create a community of compatible people who share a deep sense of a pride of ownership. Our success in this area may result in creating, for some, a very inviting place to retire…or at least to spend a significant part of each year since this area of Mexico provides the perfect offset to many northern climes where the winters are long and cold. And it is here where life can truly be lived well: great weather, inexpensive cost of living and the opportunity to really indulge yourself with inexpensive household help.
